Computer Science & Business System

The department provides state of the art computing facilities to the students through well-equipped labs. The labs have clusters based on RedHat linux 5.0 Enterprise Server, Microsoft Windows 2012 Server Enterprise Edition, SME Server, RedHat linux 5.0 Enterprise, SME Server configured with software such as C, C++, Visual C++, Visual Studio .NET, Visual Studio 6.0, JDK 1.4.0, Visual FoxPro, Rational software, Tomcat, Oracle 8i and Oracle 9i developer. Labs are also equipped for data warehousing and data mining activities.

The following Laboratories are available in the department:

• CSBS LAB-I (CS LAB Cyber Block)
• CSBS LAB-II (C1 & C2 LAB Cyber Block)

COMMUNICATION SKILLS LAB (CS LAB)

The CS LAB has over 72 HP280 G11 computers with INTEL i3-6100 3.70 GHZ, 16GB DDR4 RAM, 500GB HDD, 21 LED MONITOR.

NEW COMPUTER CENTER 2 (C1 & C2 LAB)

The C1 & C2 LAB has over 73 HP 280 G13 computers with INTEL CORE i5-13500, 2.50 GHZ, 16GB DDR RAM, 512 SSD, 64-BIT OPERATING SYSTEM, HP 101/102 KEYS EXTENDED KEYBOARD, HP PS/2 COMPATIBLE SCROLL MOUSE, 18.9" TFT MONITOR, Broadcom NetLink (TM) Gigabit.

All computers are fully networked and have the latest software. The computer center is fully air-conditioned with adequate UPS backup and has internet facilities through a 100mbps leased line with BSNL.
